Located at the interchange of Routes 93, 293, 101 and 3, Bedford easily has the best highway access in the state. With Manchester next door and both Nashua and Concord within a 20 minute drive, Bedford is ideally situated for commuters. Add to this the fact that Boston is less than an hour away. Virtually every Bedford neighborhood, from the most affordable to the most exclusive is well-designed and a pleasure to live in. Bedford also offers one of the most pleasant lifestyles to be found in southern New Hampshire. Bedford also boasts one of the lowest tax rates in the area. Much of the credit belongs to responsible local government. Couple this with a solid retail, office and commercial base and one of the highest average property values in southern New Hampshire and prospects for maintaining this favorable tax position are virtually assured.
